It's definitely Panama:"nam" is an old verb form meaning "took" (="lifted")---given in Chambers. But I still see no connection between the 8 unclued solutions.I will give my versions (in order of appearance):
?t?tc?
t?p
?ea?e?
?e?e?e?t
shar?
flavour
?rov?n?e?
?add?e?
Can anyone now help in any way?
