Perhaps 24ac is un(block)ed but can't justify remove from pit being uned. Any thoughts?

Haggis,I don't think 'uned' is supposed to mean anything, just like the letters entered for 7 A don't mean anything.
I read it as 'remove from pit' - unbed, (taking the 'lock' out of 'unblocked'(cleared). The clue says 'without jam'. Hope this makes some sense!
Where does the highlighting start?

OK I accept loo and lock albeit very loose.
Joan - the highlighting starts centrally within the 5th column and remember its 14 cells.

Thanks, Haggis. I took 'loo' and 'Block' (not 'lock') as the words meaning 'head'.

As soon as I'd posted I spotted the beginning of the highlighting. Thanks anyway.

Joan - remember that the poet's name is the 14 cells. The shape is the title.

Thanks - but I DID see it in the end. I didn't want to highlight the cells till I was sure of everything - but if I'd highlighted the cells earlier, the poem would have been staring me in the face!
