PS I've still got 10 more to do. Having a mental block through staring too much at one particular clue and getting nowhere. ;)

I hope you are enjoying it, Jazzgirl.

I've no volunteer to draw the winner for the Autumn Quiz so will find a random stranger tomorrow to do it!

Was accosted by a man in my local pub tonight who kept telling me "I loved the Spoonerism" over and over again!

Mr MMQ
The Spoonerism is one that I am stuck on, but I'm sure a coffee will help later

Jazzgirl. Thanks for your post 40. I did understand, but was trying to be ironic! As daughter says, You're not funny dad.

However this reply brings the thread back to the top of the leader board

I was too slow for your wit. I did wonder after I had posted, but too late ;)

Good Morning.
We've just cut up a sheet of A3 into 33 numbered pieces to draw the winner of the autumn quiz.
We'll do the draw in The King's Head at lunchtime.

I was still in the King's Head at 17.29, and have just arrived home after taking the marker of the autumn quiz out to dinner.

The winner of the magnum of Champagne is Helen Wallis of Ruskington.
