2 Hybrid plants came up in place,but the wrong way round SESTA??? or vice-versa,start anywhere!
3 Retreating in fear use actual breaks in line SEACE??? instructions as for nr 2 above

Thanks Greedy Kite, I didn't lose sleep, but I really did find the top section much harder than the rest of the puzzle. I'm still not there - I can't resolve 5 and 11; one looks like LUNCHESE which I cant find in Chambers, and the other should be LUNARIST or something but doesn't fit with my other letters.
