Missed out again this week. Looked good, but don't really get 1.

I'll try and look in a bit earlier next week.

I guess the consensus is 1. doesn't really work...plump/pigeon = fat/cor engaged(interlinked) becoming FAcTor....lol that and the fact that pigeon=homer and homer=cor but pigeon doesn't = cor...sorry guys, sloppy on my part.

Clue to make sense should be more like "Heavy homer engages agent"

The link is usually(and in this case)an anag of the final letters of the clues(indicated loosely by The final outrage)
