Pardon me for not mentioning everybody by name, just THANKS for having a go.

All of my answers will be defined in Chambers or the CoD.

No. 1. BEAST OF BURDEN. (clearly)

No. 2. s(IT)in = SIT-IN.

No.3. FELL (double)

No. 4. UNFEIGNED (straight anagram)

No. 5. PUSH THE ENVELOPE (Cryptic & a direct definition from Chambers under "push the envelope")

The extra one, posted in haste:-

anag of ELVIS + pea + king gives

EVIL-SPEAKING = slander (direct def from Chambers under 'evil-speaking')

However... queen of desert (camel)
pop-up - demonstration of one of those IT things that appear in error (and annoy!!)
cast is another word for level, and also a small hill (mole hill/worm cast)
