Good morning. Hope this week's offering is not too easy. I'm trying to vary the difficulty-level.

I set crossies just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few of my clues? Since they're new, no letters!

Please withhold solutions till 5 pm (GMT) to allow others to have a go.

1. Animal carrier (5,2,6)
2. Demonstration of Information Technology appearing in error (3-2)
3. Level a hill (4)
4. Real fudge with nine ingredients (9)
5. Does a postman try to achieve more than seems possible? (4,3,8)

Got 1,2 and 4 very quickly, have got an answer that I'm not sure of for 3 -and am still working on 5.

I fear, that in your attempt to vary the difficulty of your clues, you have made this week's far too easy.
Only No 5 caused a slight delay.

Can we have harder ones next week please?

Yes, I admit they're a little on the easy side. However, several 'attemptees' are using J5 as cryptic crossie practice and are 'struggling' a wee bit. This week is for them.

Well I only had 2 with a possible 4 after much head scratching, but feel mighty proud that I got the additional Terry clue easily!
