Hi Friends.

Hope not going to be controversial today!

Hi Wendy, AB, Phillip an Tony.

I would not accept Ca = American when I'm setting.
1. Is a double. Phillip sussed it out. Pike = highway = Am. was = fish.

AB. 2, 3, 4 spot-on.

5. army = command; get = command arte not in mt Chambers/Oxford Thesauri. Neither is get = army = command.

It was meant to be a homophone (get or got)

lead = marshall (Ch/Ox Thes) sounds like (get) MARTIAL = (adj)army. Ch/Ox Thesauri.

I await any forthcoming brickbats with great fear, lol. Mgo to dinner as 'she who must be obeyed' is calling. See you later

Hi again Jolan.

Not sure I'm with you on Martial = Army.
To me Martial is warlike/military while
Army is more militia than martial.

See you next week all being well.
