Thank you,Chips & Tony:VANTAGE & NAIA now clear, but HEAVE-HO is not an anag.So that one of you can explain (I'm sure you're right)the clue was:"Routine where 'igh's 'ave the bounce".You both deserve some of the delicious grapes my wife picked at a friend's place, surrounded on a ladder by a swarm of hornets---pity you live so far away...

Am not sure of my reasoning yesterday for 'heave ho' - think the main thing was it means rejection/bounce? (I maybe also wondered if 'he ho'(what's left if you take out 'ave', could equal 'routine')
I wouldn't lay too much store by any of my theories!

GREEDY KITE
20Down HEAVE-HO
The definition is "the bounce"
HEIGH-HO means routine, and if you replace IGH with AVE (where 'igh's 'ave) you get HEAVE-HO. 8Down DOCK is a multiple meaning clue.

Turast, thanks for the good explanation of the reasoning behind the 'heave ho' clue. I knew my answer was right and got 'the bounce' bit, but didn't see the rest.
