Hi all
As there are very few new posts coming in today, I thought I would ask the powers that be about the "like" box, which I am told everyone should be able to see.
1. It is not connected with facebook, although the fb symbol is there. This site is not on fb.
2. You can click "like" if you are happy with the site/forum.
3. You can also "unlike" if you are unhappy at any time.(there's a little x for this )
4. Then, if you feel happy again, you can click "like"
So if you see the numbers going up and down, this is a good monitor as to how people are thinking.
Fun eh?
PS If anyone wants a jazz musician for any particular crossword forum members wedding, I can do keyboard or clarinet.

It is connected with Facebook. If you click 'Like', and then click your name on the top left of your Facebook home page, you'll see
"(Your Name) likes a link.

The fellow at CCS told me there was no actual fb page. He checked and so did I. Can you see an actual page?

There no Facebook page pertaining to this site AFAIK. It creates a link on Facebook to this site, which your FB friends will be able to see.

Just checked that Fex, didn't realise that. Very interesting!

I don't use FB much but have just checked my profile which shows a list of links which I have "liked" and this site is among them.
So it's a good way of advertising the site.

My daughter put me on face book 2 years ago...been on it twice. Just not my thing...

But I do like the occasional tweet!

Just out of curiosity, do you think you "log in" with your facebook password?

I can't remember mine, so might be a problem!
