Hm- a harpy nude calendar? I'll have to withhold judgement till I check it out- will then see whether the strategically placed crossword book should be over my eyes (more efficient this way- only takes one book).

Probably the safe option aristo, although I can only speak for myself of course, not the fellow harpies! ;0)

The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it.

Finished - what a struggle! Had already used Wendy's link to print a copy so couldn't use Trevor's good idea because my copy didn't have the magic buttons on. What a great website will use it again - thanks.

Hi all both sides of the water.
What a bonus to find E.M.F. as the theme. Then most else fell into place (aided by my little blue box). So 2hours and done. Is that average?
And was this a typical AUR............(whatever)?

Well done Julie! I didn't quite finish this one but did enjoy it nevertheless.

To my mind, the best puzzles Araucaria does are the Alphabetical and also the Perimetrical ones. With these, you have to solve the clues then fit the answers into the grid wherever they will go. These can be real pigs to complete as, say, lots of answers have 4 letters so you've got to continually guess where they go.
