Thank you both. Excellent. I had just got as far as CAP.

Here is a clue I thought rather bizarre. What do you think of it? (I've got the answer. It was one of those where I had no idea and suddenly it came to me.)

unless I have missed something i don't much like it. Either can't explain how A is 4th Jan or if..... a U is the 4th letter,etc. can't explain how "ntie" is free.
