Hi

Thought I'd finished this quiz then whilst writing it up found one left

Lyndford Christie, Steve redgrave abd Zola Budd are all .................(7,7)
I did think it was Olympic Winners but Zola didn't win - Any better suggestions
The answer will have something to do with air or ear in it

Many thanks
Suesan

Only think can think of is Olympic Heroics ( Steve Redgrave acheived a heroic 5 gold medals at his last Olympics + Linford Christie was a hero to win a gold in 100metres yet Zola Budd never won a medal so not sure how she fits in there except for having to deal with all the controversy that surrounded her). How that fits in with hearing cannot work out either. Truly hope you find the answer soon. Good luck, kind regards, Simon

Suesan,

A wild guess - Linford Christie and Steve Redgrave were both Olympic bEARers (of the flag) at the opening or closing ceremony. Not sure about Zola Budd though.

I take the point about Zola Budd not doing so well at the Olympics, but at least "Olympic winners" (or, perhaps, " winners") has 'inner' in it. The inner ear is part of the hearing system.

The Alchemist's BEARER could also apply to Zola Budd - she always ran in bare feet.
