Thanks everyone for your input I came up with The rag nymph but couldn't find it as an actual film .

Ok guys,
I have the radio times film and video guide written by Derek Winnert 1994 Edition, It reviews all films made up to that year.
Our lass has just looked through all the titles with THE R N, and all T R N and nothing has come up, so it must be a film after that date.
The rag nymph isn't in
The reluctant dragon is the only T R ? with a mythical theme.

Just checked in the book and it is a 1946 Drama film starring Deborah Kerr and Jean Simmons but no 'The' at the beginning
