Anyone got a link to today's Spectator xword please?

Know it's early, but I would dearly like a tip, other clue to help with 26 Down -
Manx cat close to Sainte Genevieve (9)

(clue says 9 letters, but there are only 8 spaces!)

It's ok - I managed to get it.

24a Why is the "EM" in brackets?

I have only one to get and I'm stymied - any help/advice would be greatfully received.

Thanks, Pastille - am going with your 'girt' as Chambers shows 'trig'(surrounded by) as 'tight, sound', which I've decided equals 'neat'!
