15a. I have galway, 12d is inlet and 16d I have assemble, any comments please.

I'd put my shirt on GALLEY.
Scottish isle is yell,going west for an across clue signifies backwards ie LLEY.
The G and A explain themselves.
Hope you agree.

Sorry I couldn't help you on the other clue as I don't have the crossword.
The Daily Mail is a bit far right for me.Anyway we are all Nationalists nowadays!!
