Thank you Rosalind, I have the same problem with ivy in the hedgerow, but we know ivy is not the answer and I have hazel as an answer to a diffent clue. Have you heard of Robyn running in the hedge?

Chambers has "robin run in the hedge" as a small hedge plant.
