The demise of any pigeon really does tug at my heartstrings.

@chav I hope it was not that most beautiful Double Crested Priest...a most handsome bird.

I hope she/he is in birdie heaven.

I had a delicious pigeon pie in Marrakech last year. Funnily enough it's called a Pastilla.

I am really happy and amazed by that "dish".

Oooh! a pastilla!

And,one of the most tastiest things I have ever eaten was .....wait for it.......Wood Pigeon. Peat Inn in Fife.

Even now, at the apllotment, I am eyeing up those tasty birds.
