Siamcat - yes and so are some whiskies but it just doesn't seem correct. Still thinking about it. It's the last clue and so frustrating. I am 99% sure the other answers are correct.

Morning Muttley - what answers give you the O and the D in the last word?

Thanks everyone. I have gone with "in the wood" as this has most promise. A drink at the bar matured "in the wood" might be anticipated pleasantly.


Sorry can't remember the clues accurately for the O and D but I am sure the answers are correct (one was a hidden word and the other was quite simple). I posted the crossword off this morning. I'll let you know if I win!
