It's a lovely word and I'm sure it's right, but I'm with fFRANCIS on the wordplay.

Mamya is correct of course(again) - I was using "in" as [Chambers, vt:to take in] but I appreciate and take on board the comments,in retrospect it might have fairer to put a comma or hyphen between "Gold" and "in".
