i don't know why you lot bother doing GBQ and GFQ. Do you not realise that any *right* answer is given to anyone and everyone so what advantage do you get?

This GBQ question is proving impossible, it is so vague! I am guessing this person was born in south London or attended the school!

Presumably you've all read the latest GBQ newsletter by now. If you haven't, GBQ will close down after the next 3 quizzes. The reasons, dwindling numbers of entrants, one of the reasons being that people are not entering because so many answers are given away on sites such as this - contrary to the wishes of the quizsetter.

So, congratulations to all the people on this (and other) threads who have asked GBQ questions and ruined what has always been a brilliant quiz. I hope you are happy now.

could the reason be down to the fact that people just have less money?
i'd never heard of the GBQ until i saw it on this forum,probably the same for some other people who now enter.
Still,whatever the reason it's sad to see it going.
