i always do that center/centre thing.(no,i'm not a yank)it annoys me.
i still get my left and right mixed up.that annoys me too.

still can't get the ...green compact...clue tho.

for the one green compact mass clue I am thinking along the lines of one green = lawn - compact = Law (taking off the n) and then either Lords or Court..ie Law Lords or Law Court or Law something else

i think emf is right.the 'head' of plants are sometimes described as a compact mass of leaves.
