Answer is Towering but it has to be changed quite a lot to fit into the grid. Thanks for help, and sorry I didn't put number of letters.

I found this puzzle quite a struggle.
I have only managed to get 9 across clues needing change(s) ie 4,13,18,28,31,33,34,35,and 37. Which one have I missed?
I am also unsure of the actual grid entry of 20D.
Any help would be appreciated.
