Can I check a few

18 & 19 d- I made it a place that is an arid area first four letters of which are another word for nothing

21d- another word for smell

34a- a type of ancient person in the americas

17d ame?

Hi Marky - Only just checked into the site (I'm in US Mountain Time zone so many hours behind) and I see answer was verified by others. The "S" is from another clue (25) and "cent" for 100. Always so obvious once you get it!

Hi Tony. Just to let you know I finally managed to finish it over the week-end and really enjoyed it. I found it a bit challenging but I will be having another go next time round. Thanks again for your initial help x
