archaic personal groomer. could this be comber.
perhaps a servant in days gone by. comber is also a fish (type of wrasse). not to mention a beach comber of course.

junction of legs,etc....groynes. a bit iffy on the english but looks right.
keep or feel.....harbour.
northern stream,etc.....sunburn.

three feet for old ships. another idea. if dock/boat yard are possibles,why not junk yard.

more usually called breakers yards (for ships) but junks are old ships (in both senses of the word) which is more than you can say for boat/dock.

thanks terry - junk certainly fits old part better, as i'm not convinced about dock or ship - they seem more to do with new, however the answer has to relate to seaside - bit tricky this one
