AB - samphire - a brilliant answer - but what about the country element of the clue?

not sure this is right,or any help but what about
currents,

currents clearly fit with the volts over ohms, but where are country and county in this? It doesn't seem right to me.

its a difficult one i must say.

Related to the seaside might be litoral. Something to do with the shoreline, I think.

Donald we are trying to solve this specific clue to something related to the seaside:

litoral, whilst related to the seaside as you mention, doesn't seem to be anything to do with the clue.

litoral - the region of the shore of a lake or sea or ocean - also spelled littoral

amp in shire = samphire.
the shire counties are in the country(side). i.e. a shire is a country county.
