At last! I've got no.3.

Just bumping up - still not sure about#3 and no further on with the rest. Last week must have been a fluke.

Bringing this to the top as time is running out. I'm having more trouble than usual with these today.

If by "trouble" you mean having very little idea at all about the first 4, I'm having trouble too!

I have answers for two of them, but I'm almost sure they are wrong (I won't dare post them).

I've now got one definite and one iffy . lol

I'm going to be daring and post my iffy one !

Here are my only two offerings:

1. Resembles (favours) (subtractive anagram)
”elected MPs bars EEC” minus “accepted”

2. Kentucky ?
