Thank you Dandelion, same can't be said for Mephisto though! Really struggling, but will carry on and see if inspiration strikes.

Sallyw,well done to you! I too am feeling smug and happy this week - I was a winner in Beelzebub (in the Independent on Sunday). I was brought down to earth with a bang when I attempted this morning's puzzle -so far I've managed only three answers! I must be on the same wavelength as one setter - and lightyears away from others.

I'm struggling with Mephisto too (nothing new in that). I have 4 clues left - all are on the right hand side.

Managed Mephisto this week -it made up for Beelzebub having me totally stymied!

Nice one Chips! I am about half way through mephisto, and have decided to have a break from it and come back later. Might help!
