Pretty sure placed letters are correct. If any doubt it's about the middle letters in both answers.
A word of warning - you'll need Chambers for several of the other clues this week!

Ithink the 1st one is ALGOL - a programming language

3a Could be Ascii

The other one...Un(one) Dam (pool) Undam?

Think it could be "undub", meaning to hack a video game. "Dub" is a Scots word for a puddle or pool of water.
