confess that i had tried spotted dog, never heard it mind you, only the original, but
what then would be the following
fielder,
or cricketer having a little break, 5, 4
as i had that as third slip?
tell me that there isn't something called short stop in cricket! i know there is in baseball.

There's a SHORT SLIP in cricket. Hope this has not made things worse!

No, emf. I can't link slip and break. Must be SHORT STOP and the setter is confusing cricket with baseball. Not a usual mistake though.

i agree, and had thought short stop, but only know it as a baseball term,
these setters do mess up sometimes.
unless someone knows more about cricket.

if i find its short stop will be having a word with the powers that be, as i have not heard of that as a cricket term, but its finished, thanks for the help, much appreciated.
