What not to like about this one? Thanks for a nice Sunday morning workout.

Good day. I agree, enjoyable. (Though not sure I have 6a and 10a correct). Rhyming pair and a good primarily. Some long anagrams and a hidden.

Look forward to seeing other posts.

(And the early game). COYS.

Yes, good fun I thought. I had the first letter of 10a wrong at first but then twigged that kiss has to be a verb not a noun for the audacity definition to work.

I'm usually okay with the short answers but not today! It was like wading though treacle to get 6a, 10a and 21d, even with all the crossers. Suspect that 'Frenchman' in 6a might cause particular consternation (not least because Everyman's used it in a different way in the past).
COD 13d - lovely!

I had the same experience. 6a 10a and 21d were the last ones in.

I have solved 10 clue: 1a, 9a, 24a, 26a, 1d, 2d, 7d, 18d, 21d, 22d.

Stuck now.

Could I please ask for guidance as to how to read 4d, 5d and 8d?

Phil1000 I agree with your COD 13d, it was also my LOI, quite a PDM moment!

Not using the app so not certain if I have 6a correct or not, I have a word that means kindly but no idea about the parsing, any pointers please?

6a first three letters are a reversal, then one letter for Frenchman

Ah yes Jono, many thanks.

My ability to miss the bleedin' obvious has known no bounds this weekend!

I am hoping there might be some forlorn, if not bitterly cold Frenchmen in Cardiff later...

Many thanks to Everyman and happy Sunday all.
