So so hard, several of the very few I've got I don't understand.

50a Dancer pushed back against discrimination charge (7)
Nureyev?

24d A pledge from the MD, not one wallowing in power! (11,4)
Hippocratic oath?

44d Fifteenth cafe? That, for Paris, would be extravagant (7)
Baroque?

44d Baroque

Bar = cafe + o = 15th letter + que = what in French

v = versus (against).
I assume “one wallowing” is hippo, but I don’t see the rest.

Thanks geting. Don't like eye = bias (really?) or fifteenth = o without any indication that the ordinal refers to the alphabet.

Part of Hippocratic oath is patient autonomy , so I guess it's a cryptic based around that and the fact a hippo wallows , maybe?

This one is indeed an absolute stinker. Thanks for the explanations above. I’m not happy with EYE for BIAS either.

Please can anyone help with parsing these? In all cases I can see the definition but not all of the construction.

Host poking spot on family pet (6): TOMCAT?

Record misfortunes involving amateur drama promoters (9): PLAYBILLS?

Fall from great height taking green light up mountain (7): SNOWDON?

Director after ale half-heartedly fed (7): BERGMAN?

Female leaving to eat, stopping to observe fast (6): SPEEDY?

All help gratefully received!

MC is a host, but I'm not seeing the TO AT
ILLS are the misfortunes, but...?
SNOW is the fall, then NOD - green light - backwards
BE(e)R, then GMAN - fed (US lawman)
(f)EED in SPY

Not sure of this but I think...

Record = PB for Personal Best around LAY for "amateur" the ILLS for "misfortunes"
