It's my last answer, and both would fit -
I'm tempted to go with rawlplug as I think that is more technically correct ('anchor'), but can anyone advise - and tell me the difference between a rawlplug and a wallplug?

Hi.

I'd also go with rawlplug as the other is often two words: 'wall plug'.

Thanks JimC - yes, I didn't think about it like that. I'd still love to know the difference between the two though!

Hi again.

I think Rawlplug is a manufacturer of wall plugs and the word 'rawlplug' has come to be used as a generic term for 'wall plug' (much in the same way that 'hoover' came to be used as a term for a vacuum cleaner).
