2.Store nothing for an insincere attachment (8 4)
3. This low seat has short legs - appropriately! (7)

Trevor, I cannot believe how long I have been going round in circles with the "small metal cup....". I have just climbed back from the edge of insanity so a big thankyou for that one. I have to admit that I doubt if I would have got it. and John, I have "creepie", the only reference I could find was that it is a "low stool" or a "repentance stool".
