I happened to see the special instructions quickly, so wound up a bit easier than usual. But plenty of excellent clues.

This wasn't too difficult. Had some clever clues. I liked 6d, 9d.
Took me a few second to realize that 8d wasn't about a number.

31a was the easiest of 4 unclueds to figure out.

I found many "low-hanging" fruit clues at the bottom of the grid and got the unclued 40a early on, which was a big help. 31a was the next to fall.

Movie barker = a dog in films. Deop the 'piano from a word for noodles, something made from flour and water...
