I found this more interesting than some of the more recent Doc's puzzles. (IMHO)
On a technical issue, I had only my iPad and phone with me the last few days as I was away from home. On Thursday I tried to download the puzzle on iPad and was unable to proceed beyond the grid and title.
If I wished to continue reading, I was asked to subscribe.
I wonder why tablets are restricted.
Luckily a friend downloaded and forwarded me the link from her laptop.
