There are many cities called Clayton.
Barclay-bar(beam)= clay +ton (weight)

Hi.

Just a couple of thoughts ...

1. The bank's name is 'Barclays' rather than 'Barclay'.
2. There are several places in the world called 'Clayton', but are any of them really cities (except in the American use of 'city' ... such as Clayton, Kansas ~ population=66)?
