Good morning all - how goes it? My grid is going quite well but I don't get how the unclued answers(mine don't seem to make any sense) fit with 14a???
I don't like some of Lavatchs clues at all!

What is the basic ingredient in 14a!

The other answers are that ingredient but need to
be 'cooked' to make sense!
Eg 37a Riot Act = Italian product.

Thanks Tony - "cooked to make sense" helps a lot. I've finished most of it except for the unclued. Can't see much connection with the obvious of the unclued words and the theme

I'm pleased you got it. I sent it from my sister-in-law's computer.

I thought it would give you an idea of the EV puzzle.I'd be interested to know how you fare as you are such a whiz at crosswords!
