Just remembered being perplexed by this one on Saturday:

5d Hotel covered by flashy drone (5)

I can see "hydro" inside "flashy drone" but how does hydro mean hotel, if that is the definition?

It is short for "hydropathic establishment" which is a hotel offering hydropathy.

We still have quite a few Hydros in Scotland! I think they were originally hotels with baths/swimming pools or water treatments.

Chambers says ' a hotel with special baths etc...'
