Twice make knight's move? Not me (6)

BISHOP

Mentioning this because there is a long-running thread on the English Chess Forum: Times Cryptic Chess Clues.

Someone has criticised the above clue for defining the answer as something which it is not.

I imagine the clue must satisfy the Times crossword's reputation for rigour, but is there a term for this type of clue? It's not exactly DBE.

I seen ‘not xxxx’, referred to as an antonym definition. It’s an accepted form of definition, albeit with the potential to introduce a lot of ambiguity, as is the case here

I think it comes into the "partial &lit" "category", partial as it requires "not me" in addition to the wordplay to give the definition.
