Yes- the non-song-related "includes" are at 17A, 26A, 39A,10D, 19D and 27D according to my workings.

Isn't the definition in 23 down - "Clerical garb includes footwear (8)" - inaccurate or rather just plain wrong?

This is just one of a number of mistakes to have appeared in this series. I cannot believe any of these puzzles are properly checked before publication. Embarrassing.

I'm stumped by 12D: "Saw welcoming leaders, on time, getting bonus (9)"

I have ad?a?tau?

Probably made a mistake

Your U is wrong, that's probably what is making it tricky.

You need a a five letter word for saw, proverb, with a three-letter word meaning leaders, in the forefront etc and the usual Time, inside. The definition is 'bonus'.
