#8, "key to the translation of cuneiform" (12 letters) general knowledge I think?
here's what we have so far: ***I******C*
This puzzle has to do with one of the earliest written languages (cuneiform) originating with the Sumerians of Mesopotamia. My best guess is that it might be 2 words starting with "ancient"

Wonderful! Thank you! thank you!! My 13 year old recognized the photo of the Behistun rock on the Wickipedia page you referenced. He said he saw the same pic on the board in the classroom, and he said it sounded familiar so that must be the answer. The test is tomorrow and I'm sure it will be on the test. This couldn't be found in the textbook & my internet searching was going in circles. Sadly, no one knows if that stone wall is still intact between travel restrictions and all the bombing that has take place in the area. Thanks again!
