Same old story here: I've got all the answers but am bewildered by a few of the clues.
17d: Bind back round rubber shoulder-piece (7) (obvious answer but what's the rubber?)
25d: Code translated into German? That's torn it (possibly)! (6)
27d: Library stock? It's sad when sections are switched (5) (Whenever there's trouble or sadness, I assume it's French in origin, but perhaps I'm wrong this time.)
