I have this cryptic crossword. The clue is "Novelist Christopher Robin's home on island" and the solution is "Isherwood". But I cannot for the life of me figure out what.

Grizzly relative - bear

little dye (first letter) - d

But the most important part of the clue is the first word: Teach.

Edward Teach, also know as Blackbeard was an English pirate.
