Damn, two days in a row with queries. Thought I was getting good at this...

"Pay it to treat anorexic? Sure can, if it's in order" = 'health insurance'. I can see an anagram of Insurance but where's Health?

"Become known in e.g. regiment after promotion" = 'emerge'. It looks anagrammatical this one but I'm not sure where it is...

I was watching Come Dine With Me t'other day (addictive...) and one of the contenders, standing at the cooker with a lobster in his hand, turns to camera and says: "D'you know why they put bands around their claws? To stop them reaching out and turning the gas off."

Made me laugh..

Many thanks

"Become known in e.g. regiment after promotion"
e.g. reme (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) backwards.

For the first clue, I think the wordplay is .. HEAL(treat) + THIN (anorexic) + SURANCE (anagram of 'sure can').

I also laugh at Come Dine with Me. It's all in the cruel editing and commentary!
