A very enjoyable puzzle, completed apart from three queries:
8D - Caught out around noon at cave. I have acht?ng, but can't make sense of any answer.
97A - Judge French art - Bear. I have estee?
108A - Section of Riviera Quartet for Bach. It's probably "vier", but why?

Any help much appreciated

8D - Anagram of "caught" + "n" for noon. Definition is "cae" in the Latin sense of "look out".

97 A - French art, as in "Thou art", = es; "teem" is a near enough synonym for one sense of "bear".

108A - "Vier" is German for four (quartet).

Thank Heavens!
Very many thanks - some extreme lateral thinking required there.
