Stuck on the last 5 of this quiz and it's due in next week. Any help at all would be appreciated. No numbers of letters are given and the instructions say that the answers 'are as near as possible to how they sound'

eg Laid on top of Scottish own =captain

31 Before mash (for an odd mixture)

Oops! Just realised it had to be military!

I guess there are times when the military uses RADAR as a detection device!
