After a query-free day yesterday, I've 3 posers today:
"Cut timber in temporary store" = 'chipboard'.
"U.S. racing in Windy City? Yes and no" = 'indy'. What's with the 'Yes and no'? The clue works without it...
"Legs astride one? It makes you cry" = 'onion'. The word 'on' is astride the 'i' but what's that to do with legs?

Many thanks.

"U.S. racing in Windy City? Yes and no" = 'indy'.
It might be - YES, Indy is written inside "Windy City" but NO, indycar racing does not take place in Chicago (The Windy City).
I am interested to see any answers for the other clues. I'm baffled.

In cricket, "leg" side and "on" side are the same thing.
Chipboard: the timber connection is there; could be "board" as in temporary board and lodging, but "store"??
