Google CHACO cap. Gives several articles with alternate spelling.

Chambers Word Wizard gave 41A.

Perhaps Columba meant the altered entries are in Chambers, though none are unusual, maybe 11D.

Thank you Tony. It is such an obvious pseudonym for a setter that I wondered if anyone had used it. Manipulator 0f words - suits him better that monkey puzzle tree, I reckon.
