Hi solidaire123 - your 'a' is incorrect (should be 'i') and the character is in Taming of the Shrew. I hope that helps?

Thanks, Truron. I'd never heard of the answer to 35, Tige, defined as 'the shaft of a column', nor the Tiger, liveried lad (fails to finish, remove last letter). I just worked my way through Chambers to get it.
